The capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, is one of the most popular tourist sites in the country. It is a stunning metropolis that sprawls along the Red River's banks and has a rich French colonial history. Over 600 pagodas and temples, as well as the Old Quarter, have survived Hanoi's exciting thousand-year history, which has been marred by destruction, wars, and natural disasters.
