I found Travel Agent Hanoi from the web, 3 months prior to our travel. From the first email, Simon was very responsive, friendly and professional. He asked relevant questions. We are 4 adults made up of my mum, my aunt, my niece and me. (There is no option to select “family” for this review). Both my mum and aunt are elder retirees. Simon and Ngat planned a suitable itinerary for us, considering our interests, ages, physical abilities. Kind of tricky as our ages range from 21 to 82! They took the stress of holiday planning from me so I can enjoy the holiday…(more)

Honest, responsive, friendly with the personal touch, highly recommended!

I have been travelling through Asia for almost 20 years, very often with local travel agencies. I picked Travel Agent Hanoi for Vietnam. Travel Agent Hanoi arranged a 3 week private tour, incl. hotel, driver etc. They had the best program (Classic destinations as well as discoveries, e.g. food tasting in Hanoi (delicious) or bicycle tours through rice fields in Hoi An), the best hotels (where it matters) at a reasonable price. So far business as usual. But what made the essential difference to about 10 other vietnamese agencies asked at the same time? Travel Agent Hanoi answered in minutes and was absolutely…(more)

The best way to discover Vietnam Stefan Weise

I’ve travelled all over the world, both with the use of travel agents and without. Hanoi Travel Agency (Ngat) was by far the most comprehensive and pleasant agency I have ever used.

She put together an outstanding itinerary with complete details for pick up, transfers, hotel stays etc. Her recommnedations really made the whole stay worthwhile for both my daughter and me in Vietnam.

Ngat was courteous and always replied promptly to my emails. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to travel to Vietnam!

We have unforgetable week in North of Vietnam with Travel Agent Hanoi. We chose to go with Ngat, because she was very flexible and patient to our wishes and let us create our itinerary just like we wanted. Her delicate and professional tips on our itinerary were so useful and practical that we were very happy that we listened and used it.

“Reliable agency with excellent attitude to customer” anzelikajus

Ngat managed to arrange our Vietnam tour on very short notice and could even change an accommodation type (from hotel to homestay) upon request during the trip. She was easily reachable via mail and whatsapp, so we felt in good hands. We could lean back, enjoy the country and had a really good time. Ah, and her food tour is very recommendable to dive into Vietnamese cuisine. Thank you!

Amazing Trip John Dawson

The two sister boats Dragon Eyes I and Dragon Eyes II were built in the traditional style of the Mekong Delta river boats. Their elegant, slender and shallow hulls enable the Dragon Eyes to cruise also the secondary side canals of the Mekong river which are too small for the larger cruisers to explore. There we find serene river front life that makes the Mekong Delta so unique.

At the same time the river cruise boats are big enough to provide you with ample space for relaxation and privacy. Each of the Dragon Eyes provides around 100 m2 for its guests. It’s like a floating hotel:

Two spacey private cabins (14 — 16 m2), providing a nicely designed bath room, a French balcony, sitting area, individual air conditioning, fans and fantastic Mekong river views through the panorama windows.

In the indoor panorama lounge you can watch the hustle and bustle of the Mekong Delta sitting in the cool and cosy front salon with air condition and large panorama windows and 270° views on the river.

On the sun deck on the top deck you can enjoy a sun bath while watching the scenery passing by. Indulge in the culinary specialities of Vietnam in the roofed outdoor restaurant or enjoy a sun-downer in your private bar on the top deck — all with fantastic river views.

Our crew of five will do their utmost to provide you with all the services and comfort you need during your Mekong Delta river cruise. Your captain and his deck hand are in charge of the technical details and the routing. An experienced chef and the service staff will take you on a culinary journey through Vietnam. Your personal guide and cruise director show you all the sights you need to see and will explain life and culture of the Mekong Delta. Our staff get regular safety training. They will do their best to fulfil the special requests of our customers to make their luxurious cruise unique.

The boats were built by local ship builders from following traditional designs. The cabins and the interior were build by Vietnamese master craftsmen. Most interiors and furniture are built from exclusive tropical woods, where available with certification for sustainable forest plantation. All critical technical equipment like engine, navigation, rudder, air-conditioning, water purification or fire protection system are imported from Japan or Europe.

Private 2 day Mekong Delta tour on our 1 or 2 cabin boat

We pick you up at your hotel in Saigon (district 1 and parts of district 3)
and will take you back there after your cruise. The drive to / from Cai Be takes about 2 hours, to / from Can Tho approx. 4 hours.

Option 1: Cruise from Cai Be to Can Tho with a visit to Cai Rang floating Market

You board your comfortable river cruiser in Cai Be. After a refreshing welcome drink we show you our on-board facilities and your cosy cabin. As lunch is served, the boat starts cruising. Sit back and watch the fantastic scenery and the daily life of the Mekong people.

In the afternoon you can disembark for a guided leisurely stroll through a village and the surrounding fruit orchards or rice fields. Meet the friendly locals and taste the local produce and fruits.

Get back on board and enjoy a drink at the bar or relax on deck as the sun sets over the magnificent water landscape of the Mekong river. The cruise boat will anchor for the night. The day ends with a delicious on-board dinner. You stay overnight on board on your compfortable river cruiser.

On day 2 you wake up well rested to the sound of the river and get ready for another exciting day of sightseeing in the Mekong Delta. At 6.30h the cruise vessel sets off for a sunrise cruise. Watch the locals go about their daily work drying exotic fruits and building ships on the wooden yards while enjoying an early breakfast.

After breakfast, we will board a sampan boat to Cai Rang floating market, the region’s busiest and most lively markets. Marvel at the sheer abundance of exotic fruits, vegetables and skilfully handcrafted regional products. We will pull up to the boats for talking and bargaining with the merchants. After the excursion to the market it is time to start the journey back to Saigon. From Can Tho we travel by road transfer back to Saigon. In My Tho you say good by to the Mekong Delta with a lunch break offering typical Mekong Delta dishes at Mekong Rest Stop.

Meals day 1: lunch, dinner; day 2: breakfast, lunch

N. B.: The floating markets in the Mekong Delta are no tourist markets but wholesale markets where produce of the Mekong Delta like fruits and vegetables are traded. For this reason the number of boats on the market fluctuates depending on harvesting seasons and market demand. Furthermore, modern wholesale markets are becoming more popular in Vietnam. This can result in decreasing numbers of boats being present on the markets.

We pick you up at your hotel in Saigon (district 1 and parts of district 3) and will take you back there after your cruise. The drive to / from Cai Be takes about 2 hours, to / from Can Tho about 4 hours.
