Ba Be Lake 2D1N - Bamboo Rafting & Homestay
Ba Be Lake is one of the greatest areas of North Vietnam that a lot of travellers do not get to see. Take a trip to a place less travelled by tourists and enjoy peace and quiet in and around the homestay on Ba Be Lake.
Take a boat trip down the Nang River, enjoy trying out a bamboo raft and then take a cycling trip through to the cave of Hua Ma, the biggest in Ba Be. In the evening, enjoy a specially prepared meal with the local homestay family.

Your itinerary!
Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake (L,D)
At 7am you will be collected from your hotel by our English speaking guide, to join the others on your airconditioned bus, to start your journey through the northern landscapes of Vietnam towards Ba Be Lake. Once we arrive in Ba Be, we will stop to have lunch n a local restaurant specially chosen by our local guide.
In the afternoon at around 2pm, you will arrive at the Buoc Lom Wharf, to embark on a boat trip down the Nang river stopping at Puong Cave to see its thousands of bats, moving on down river to the An Ma Temple before getting ready for some swimming and bamboo rafting, the highlight of todays tour.
After you have finished swimming and having fun in the lake, you will then get ready to take a short hike to the homestay, where you will be enjoying dinner with a local family and sleeping overnight in this Tay local minority tribe.
Day 2: Ba Be Lake – Hanoi (B,L)
This morning after breakfast, you will enjoy a cycle ride through the minority villages to Hua Ma Cave, befor ereturning back to the Homestay to check out and enjoy lunch. At around 1pm, you will set off back towards Hanoi arriving around 7pm in the evening and dropped off at your hotel.
